PROMOTION POLICY
Classes 1 to V

  • All the students in the final result have scored qualifying grades D and above in the four main subjects is promoted to the next class.
  • There is no detention of students in class I to V as part of the general promotion policy RTE(Right to Education Act)

  • Classes VI to VIII

  • All the students in the final result have scored qualifying grades D and above in six main subjects except foundation of IT is promoted to the next class. Students who have scored E1 and E2 grade in one or more main subjects in Scholastic area will appear for EIOP(Eligible for improvement of performance) and attain qualifying grade D.

  • Class IX
    AS PER THE CBSE GUIDELINE.

    Class XI
  • Annual Exam minimum 33% marks in theory and practical separately
  • Yearly subject aggregate minimum 33% marks in each subject.
  • Supplementary Maximum in two subjects.
  • 80% attendance is imperative.

  • For getting promotion to the next class student must fulfill both point 1 and 2. Yearly subject aggregate includes
  • 4 weekly Tests of 25 marks each
  • Half yearly exam of 100 marks
  • Annual exam of 100 marks
  • (Out of 300 marks student must score 99 marks as yearly subject aggregate)

    Supplementary for class XI
  • If a student secured less than 33% marks in one or two subjects he/she will be eligible to take the Supplementary Examination in those two subjects.
  • If a student fails in theory only, he/she has to take supplementary examination in theory alone and need to secure 33% marks to be eligible for promotion to the next class in Supplementary Examination. Similarly if a student fails in practical alone, he/she has to take Supplementary Examination in practical alone and need to secure 33% marks.
  • If a student represent school in any state or National level sports meet, or state or National level cultural competition or NCC then he/she will get a chance to write the re- exam as per the schedule given by the School.

  • No Bonus marks will be awarded to any child in any case.
